Winter Wonderland....not

Our Oscar's in trouble again. He couldn't resist jumping up and snatching the serviette hanging off the plate.  It looked scrumptious!

Posing with dad.

Me mam took some photos in the garden tonight.  I was posing like a supermodel but Our Oscar wouldn't sit still on the chair so she took pics of me on my own.
Our Oscar's in trouble again. Look what he did whilst I was busy modelling ..
What am I going to do with him?

Christmas is coming.....

This is me posing in my Christmas outfit. Handsome don't you think?
My mam tried to take a photo of Our Oscar too but he wouldn't let her put his jacket on.  He thought it was a great game though.  She gave up in the end and just took some of me.  I posed really well as you can see.

Oscar helped to get the decorations out.

Then he helped dad to find the soldering iron he bought last year so he could fix the brand new decorations mam had just bought cos 2 of them wouldn't light up.  (She wasn't happy.)    He couldn't find the soldering iron so he's gone to Ace Hardware to buy another one. (He's not happy either.)

Oscar's in trouble again....we don't need a DNA test to figure out who chewed the tree lights!
The guilty one

Nose Wrinkle Cleaning

Now if there's one thing me 'n Our Oscar love, it's having a bath.  I pretend I'm at a Spa and sit back, relax and revel in the delights of feeling my skin being nourished and cleansed by the warm, soapy, sweet-smelling suds..........I could sit there all day.....aaaahhhhhh.

But Our Oscar splashes about and drinks the water and wriggles and squirms till the kitchen (and dad) end up wet through.  Oscar's tongue comes in really handy for cleaning his eyes - wish I could do that!

We quite like the ear cleaning bit but we hate having our nose wrinkle tampered with.  I mean, how would you like it?  Dad said he has to do it or we smell like a bog.  And what's wrong with that may I ask?

Hey Oscar - I hope you haven't pee'd in this water!

The Cake

Dad's happy again.  He found the icing sugar he'd been looking for at the shop mam told him to go to in the first place - the local Landmark. He's going to have a go at putting marzipan and icing on The Cake today. Our Oscar can hear lots of banging and clattering about in the kitchen and he's standing guard outside the kitchen door just in case dad needs him to help lick  spoons clean or lick up cake crumbs off the floor. Oscar has a particular talent for licking up crumbs as me mam says he has a tongue the size of an Doberman.

Oscar's in trouble again.  Dad bought us these really neat toys and he fills them with up with bits of food. We chase 'em and knock 'em over, the food spills out then me and Oscar can have a bit of a scrap to see who can eat the most treats in the shortest time.  They're for cats really and they have pink feathers on the top but we don't care cos anything that has food inside has to be good right?  Wrong.  Oscar thought it would be nice to pluck one of the feathers off the top and dashed to dad to show how clever he was.  It backfired...dad chased Oscar to retrieve the feather but just as he grabbed him Oscar swallowed it.  Dad said it would help him find Oscar's turd in the garden tomorrow morning as it'll be the one with the big pink flag on top.  Every cloud....

Have a nice day.

Welcome to our world

My dad's upset.  He's made a Christmas cake.  He meticulously fed it with brandy every week and it looks and smells delicious. But now he can't find a shop that sells icing sugar so he can't decorate it. He's English and in England you can buy icing sugar all over the place. But they don't have Tesco or Asda or Waitrose in Manila. He says the Filipino shop assistants don't know what icing sugar is, they just say 'yes sir' and walk away.   He tried asking for confectioner's sugar but still no luck.  We've tried to console him and gave him an extra big lick on the chin.  We think he should forget the icing and decorate the cake with chicken strips and liver pate. Yum yum.
